We made it safe! We arrived at Ken’s apartment a little before 11pm. Sleeping arrangements were made and we got to sleep about an hour later when we had settled. Clint Robinstein arrived from Cebu just a little later. This morning we’ve been up since 5am, packing to head to Lopez with Phillip Dumawa. Spirits are high. We are so thankful for this opportunity to come and work beside the ones we love here. We started with some pandesal (hot bread) from across the road as we waited to load the van, so I could prove to everyone it was as good as I had described it. A quick stop at McDonalds for breakfast, and our final stop was for waters, and now we’re on the road for approximately five hours. Pray for the work. I’ll update if I have service down there. We should be back in Manila on Monday (a slight change in our schedule — that’s the “flexible” part of our motto).
