Day Two

Day one was our travel day into Manila, where we slept last night at Wilkey’s apartment. This morning we got up, got some pandesal, visited with some of our friends there and hit the road at 8. We reached our destination about 6:30pm after a long day in the van. We joke about the ride, but it is a workout with all the curves sharp curves through the mountains and bumps along the way — my watch closed all rings about halfway through. We arrived at Gen. Aguinaldo with Edward, Bing, Arnulfo, Reggie, and Junie waiting to greet us. Tomorrow we start early for work in Mayoyao.
